We went to visit our cousin who just had a baby recently. The girls were enamored with him and just couldn't stop staring. But I can't blame them, he is pretty darn cute. But after our visit we decided that since we were practically there, we might as well head over to Santa Cruz. The weather was wonderful! We had some yummy lunch at Gilbert's, then gelato for dessert. The girls enjoyed sitting and watching the water and yelling at the seagulls. Didn't you know that if you yell at them, they'll come and play with you? Oh, that's right - they don't. But don't tell a 4 and 2 year old that, they were just having too much fun.

Today was a wonderful change of pace and the girls have already made us promise to take them back to the "Big Park", so I know what is in our future. These kinds of days are just the best.
