Splash 2 Dash {First Triathlon}

Over the past few months, we've been doing lots of more "FIT FAMILY" stuff. Running, bike riding, swimming - you know, since Fitness is a lifestyle not a fad. ;)

The girls participated in their first triathlon recently and they did great.  It wasn't without a couple of hiccups; such as Aubrie needed a lot of moral support which led to me running alongside her and cheering her on. And Delanie not wanting to take any pictures crossing the finish line. But they really did have a great time and I am so happy that they love being active.

Getting ready for the swim portion of the event.

Delanie riding - I wish I had some of Aubrie biking, but I was too busy running alongside her. LOL!

The twinsies are 10 months!

It's so hard to believe that it's already been 10 months since we welcome the twinsies into our life.

Could they be any cuter?!?!

Hahahah - she's so funny!

Alaska - Glacier Bay

There are no words. Simply beautiful.

Alaska Trip - Skagway

Our 2nd stop on the cruise was Skagway. Mr. Matt made the smart move and went to the Visitors Center and found out about this great Kids Center that taught all about the Klondike Gold Rush. They even became a Junior Ranger!

The kids dressing up in some time period clothing.

Totem masks.

Even Em got to have some fun.

They are now Junior Rangers!

Corn Dog Lunch and DELICIOUS cupcakes from Sugar Mamas. If you're in the area, stop on by.

Totem Tourist.

Stopping in at the Back Alley Rock Shop to hunt for some gems. Totally fun and well worth the money - the girls spent an HOUR splashing and picking out their goodies.

Who knew that sifting for gemstones would be so much fun!?!

Big smiles for a a bag full of gems!

Next Stop - Glacier Bay!

We went to Alaska - Finally Some Pictures!

In June we headed to Seattle and then hopped a boat ride to Alaska. OK, it was a enormous cruise ship, but you get the idea. The trip was beautiful and while our younger ones were a bit *too small* for us to do some of the really fun stuff, it was a trip that we look forward to going on in the future.

First stop - Seattle and the Space Needle view from our balcony.

Miss A & Daddy waving good-bye to their fans. ;)

And Miss H too!

Arriving at our next stop - Juneau.

I think D was excited to be there!

 The famous "Red Dog Saloon"

They are such tourists. Hahaha!

It's so beautiful here.

I've got lots of photos, so I'll break them down into multiple posts. Next up - Skagway.
