Fires, Fires & More Fires

We had a storm blow in and the NWS issued a red flag warning for lightening in our area. Well now from the South Bay all the way to Napa there are fires. This is about 5 miles from my house. And the area was being evacuated RIGHT after we left from my photo op.

It's that time again - horse show time. McKenzie did a great job at this show - she only showed one of the two days and she came home with Champion. Not sure how that works, but we were proud - as always! Watch out - she's coming to a town near you - Summer Olympics 2016 - she'll be old enough then, right? OK, maybe she won't be an Olympic jumper, but hey, one can dream right? ;o)

The year is winding down

The school year will officially end on Friday at 12:45pm. WOW! The
school year has just flown by and we've had so much fun. McKenzie has done so many great things this school year, with field trips and things at school. Today I am hosting an Ice Cream Party for her class - that should be FUN! Messy, but fun. :o) Stay tuned for pictures from that.

Next week the girls are signed up for some art classes - McKenzie will have a blast. Delanie, I am a little nervous to be quite honest. She is very cautious, especially around new people, so I'm not exactly sure how it's going to work. But you've got to start somewhere and try to bring her out of her shell.

Anyway - off to load the car with ice cream and supplies!!!
