Great Grandma would be so proud!

I used my 40% off coupon at JoAnn's today and bought a Knifty Knitters Round Loom Set. I've seen a bunch of cute things made with them and I wanted to buy the girls some new knitted hats - but at $25 a pop - that adds up fast. So I figured I'd spend $15 and see if I could do it - and I did. Matt's says "Grandma would be so proud". I think she would be - I wonder if I can figure out how to make slippers with this thing....Hmmmmmm

Here's my first creation - a single color hat for Delanie. Not bad if I do say so myself.

Cold Mornings

As the weather changes it means many things - warm sweaters, boots, rain coats and yummy warm drinks. This morning was nice and chilly, so that meant a trip to Starbuck's and a Chai Tea Latte. Mmmmmmmmm.

If any of the girls love to paint it's Delanie. She will take any opportunity to work the colors with her hands, a paintbrush, anything. She is certainly the budding little artist. So to let her work on her skills we broke out the paint. Oh what fun we had!

Had great weather for an impromptu photo shoot this morning. So I broke out the pettiskirt I finished up for Delanie and decided to make it her "3 Year" Photo Shoot. What a little lady.

The girls planted these this summer. We didn't think we'd get anything since they got planted late, but we did. And they are oh so pretty.

She's 3. Oh where has the time gone? She's such a little mother and is so full of energy.

This year she has started school, moved to the new class, come out of her shell, is learning how to swim, learned her ABC song, and so much more.

She's growing up fast - watch out world - here she comes!

We did our open water dives yesterday - 2 of the 4. It was amazing, crappy water, but so cool to see all of the neat things under the sea. :o) We even got some pictures, so stay tuned.

Gold Medal Swimmer in Training

Delanie is taking swim lessons - she took a few last month and she will be taking them twice a week for the month of September. She's not as big of a waterbug as McKenzie and Aubrie, but she's coming around, which is good. We spend way too much time in the water for her not to like it. Who knows - maybe she'll become a crazy water rocket and be a gold medal swimmer. Summer Olympics 2020 - here we come. :o)
