Stompy Stompers

Crazy Sock Day

This week is Red Ribbon Week at McKenzie's school and today they wanted the kids to "Sock it to Drugs" and wear crazy socks. McKenzie was up for the challenge - and boy did she "Sock it to Drugs."

That's right - We're Armed

Against the Flu. Everyone got their flu shots yesterday. I took the little girls, the hubby took McKenzie. Fun times. No but really, it wasn't bad at all - Aubrie cried a little, Delanie didn't cry at all and McKenzie - "It didn't hurt. It just felt like a lead pencil." Ummm, ok then. Here are my two littlest girls - Thriving and Armed Against the Flu. :)I guess you could say Aubrie is Legged Against the Flu. ;)And because Delanie didn't want me to feel left out, she opted to take a picture of me too. Isn't she just the sweetest?

Some Creative Goodness

After buying the girls some cheap and generic Halloween Trick or Treat bags I decided WTH am I doing? I've made their costumes the last few years and while I'm not making the costumes this year, I could at least make some bags. So I made some dun tote bags to go with their costumes, and then they will double as Library Book Bags after Halloween. Pretty smart, right? See, that is why I am the Mom. :)

A bag for Aubrie aka Toto.
A bag for McKenzie aka The Wicked Witch.A bag for Delanie aka Dorothy.

Dive - Dive - Dive

I don't know what is more fun - learning how to do a standing dive or watching your 4 year old learn how to do a standing dive.
Or who knew that Airplane arms could help you zoom across the water when put in between Monkey and Solider arms.

New clothes by mama

Spent some time sewing yesterday and came up with these cute little numbers. They were very excited to wear them to school today. Delanie's Korker Bows are courtesy of the magnificent bow maker - Gretchen. Thanks Gretchen - they turned out great!
