What a Guy!

Matt and I have been discussing a new car, as right now we are outgrowing the Durango. I know, funny...It's an SUV and it's too small. It's fine seat-wise, there just isn't enough storage room for three kids and horse stuff. So we started looking and I really like the Surburban's. We've looked and priced and I was under the impression that we'd be buying the next couple of months, once Matt found a good deal.

Well, I was fooled. Today Matt surprised me with my new car! It's just what I wanted, color and everything. As a matter of fact, it was one of the ones that we looked at a couple of weeks ago. So I got a new car and wasn't expecting it. Although Matt did tell me that my new car would be at the office by 10:30 am, so much for me believing him. That is until the Chevy dealership called to tell me "Thank You" for my recent purchase! HAHA!!! So I got the office, Matt tried to surprise me, I turned stupid and embarrassed. But I'm so excited and it's SO nice!

Thanks Matt - Me and Kids owe you. You're the best!

Oh Yea...She ROCKED it!!!

This weekend McKenzie showed at the Santa Cruz County Fair. The fairs are always a bit bigger, a little more competitive and there are a lot more riders. Even with all of the hype and the craziness of the fair, McKenzie ROCKED it!!! She placed in 4 out of her 5 classes, bring home a 2nd, 4th, 6th and FIRST PLACE IN JUMPING! She had a blast, did well and we are so proud of her.

The Babies are Growing Up!

Aubrie is now 5 months old and Delanie is just shy of 2 years old. (McKenzie is 8 going on 15, but she wasn't home for this photo shoot.) I can't believe how fast the time is going, not sure if it's the actual time that's going by fast or the fact that with 3 kids going in 3 different directions the time seems to go by quickly.

In celebration of 5 month and 2 year birthdays in our house I celebrated with what else???? PHOTOS!!!

Blogging and Delanie's Turning TWO!

Journaling, photography, graphic designing, sewing, crafting, mommying...Now Blogging...What else can I add to my creativity list? Now sure if there is much more to add. I'm just a Jill of All Trades!

Delanie will be 2 on Sunday the 9th, I can't believe it. She has gone from a squirmy little pink baby to a running, jumping whirlwind of a toddler. She is amazing and fun and it seems like everyday is something new. It's been a long time since we've experienced life through the eyes of someone so innocent to the craziness of the world and it is so much fun! The Doodlebops have become the norm in our household, who woulda thunk that those creepy painted faces would have such catchy tunes? I hate to admit, but there are times that I find myself bopping along with Delanie, Moe and the rest of the Doodlebop gang. What has come over me?!?! I guess it's just so much fun to get down and boogey with the Bug.

Happy Birthday Delanie Grace - I can't wait to celebrate 100 more.
