Happy Birthday Grandad

We celebrated Grandad's birthday last night and it was fun. He's such a goofy ol' guy - we just love him to pieces. Happy Birthday, Grandad!

Swim Time

The goal for the rest of the summer is to get Delanie comfortable in the big pool. She is fine and loves water - the bath, the little pool - but put her in the big pool, she freaks out! I feel rather bad, because I don't want her to have this sort of fear of deep water, I think it's the fact that she can't touch the bottom with her feet. And I mean, who is to blame her - she floating in this big deep abyss of water and she can't touch the bottom. But that's the goal - to not get her swimming, but to not have her freak out when she's not glued to your side in the water. I mean see - she really does like it.

Happy 4th of July!

We had a nice day - took some pictures of the babies - they weren't cooperating all that well, but they still turned out pretty cute. McKenzie is spending the week with her dad at Big Bear - so she spent the day on the lake. Matt finished up some construction and started tearing into the backyard a little bit to get it ready for Grandma Lupe's Big Bash! Then over to John's for some BBQ, swimming and shhhh - fireworks. Fun day.

Construction and Pizza

While Matt and the crew were working on a project on Thursday, I was instructed to bring pizza for dinner. So that is what I did - and my girls had dinner in the middle of piles of lumber. Gotta love country living.
