Itty Bitty Tooth

First tooth. Oh boy - that means this little itty bitty is growing up. Fast.

And seriously. How freakin' cute is she? I just can't handle it.

Getting Ready for Some Love

Even little girls need a little extra love for Valentine's Day. So I crafted some cute little mailboxes that will be filled with sweet treats for the big girls and maybe a teether for the babe. I also think some sort of silly stuffed animal is in order, but don't tell Daddy - he already thinks the house is bursting at the seams with toys. :)

Happy Valentine's my Little Sweethearts.

5 months already?!?!

Sweet Miss Haylie Mae,

Will you please stop growing. The past 5 months have been flying by at warp speed and I don't like it one bit. You are changing and growing before my very eyes. You are supposed to be my last baby, so can you do me a favor and stay that way?

The last month has been a big month. You've found your feet, which by the way it looks are mighty tasty. You're laughing more, rolling more, playing more. Although you don't like people much, but really that's OK - I *not so secretly* love that I'm the one you want to cuddle with. :)

You're quite a gem my little miss. May you continue to sparkle and add even more happiness to our little-big family.

xoxo,
Mama

A little hello and a great big hug.

On Sunday we looked outside and saw this. It was just a couple of days before the anniversary of my good friend TJ's, death. For those of us of us that loved him, we have hung on to rainbows as a sign from him. Like a little hello and a great big hug from above, because he certainly gave the best hugs ever. We miss him like crazy and we always wonder what he would be like today. It's hard to imagine him grown up, in my heart he'll always be that crazy skater with the headphones and the crooked smile. Thank you TJ for making my childhood a little more fun and I miss you today even more than I did that day 13 years ago.

Thanks for the reminder that you're still looking out for us. You always did go big or go home, didn't you?
