Happy 3rd Birthday, Aubrie Faith!

Aubrie, you are three. Where did the last three years go? It seems like not that long ago you were a tiny little pink bundle all cuddled up in a My Blankee. Now you are a running, tumbling, going to be a big sister THREE YEAR OLD. Wow.

Over the last three years you have certainly made your spot in our family known. Not only by you cute and adorable loveliness, but by your shear determination to not be forgotten as the littlest sister. You know what you want and you make it known. That sometimes ends in you having a nice quiet sit by yourself, but I am proud to say that you sure do speak up for yourself. I am sure that will come very handy as you get older.

Right now you are learning to swim with the best swim teacher ever. Hello, Miss Ashleigh. You sure do give her a run for her money and just yesterday she told me that boy your mood can change on a dime. Hello, welcome to my world. But it's OK - sure you butt heads with everyone around you at times, but all in all you are so sweet and loving it ridiculous.

School time - you love it. Enough said. I am not sure what you will do once your partner in crime aka Delanie heads of to Kindergarten in August, but I know you will be fine. You love your friends, teachers and getting homework. Now if we can just work on leaving your wet paintings at school until they are dry, we'll be good.

Watching you grow the last three years sure has been a fun ride, although a roller coaster at times. But hey, I do love roller coasters and I certainly love being your mom. Now let's keep on ridin' and make a lot more fun family memories. Keep on being you, Miss A - we wouldn't have you any other way.

Love - The Mama

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Today was a day of GREEN - the kids were decked out for school. The Leprechaun Juice was made and ready to take to the preschool. Now - if we could only keep those sneaky little Leprechauns out of our house.
Aubrie found some gold coins - I'm not sure if the Leprechauns are going to be too happy about that!
Uh Oh - looks like those Leprechauns slipped in during nap time and left their green little footprints all over the house! They sure are sneaky!
Green dinner is always a hit at our house. Green tortellini, broccoli, green milk, green jello - those Leprechauns sure are magical! At least that's what Delanie says. And just for good measure our little miss smarty pants got STRAIGHT A's again, as well as Perfect Attendance and a Student Council Award - go Kenzie!!!
All in all St. Patty's Day was a hit and the kids had a blast. It sure is fun being a mom.

Are you sure you're really pregnant?

That is the question I got from someone today. I guess while I can TOTALLY tell I am pregnant and my stomach is SO not nice and flat anymore, most people don't look twice. Because I guess compared to most at 4 months pregnant, I don't really LOOK pregnant. But anyway - here we are at 16 weeks and just 2 short weeks away from finding out if we're having a GIRL Gus-Gus or a BOY Gus-Gus. Anyone want to venture a guess? ;)

Guacamole Anyone?

How about 16 weeks with a side of Guacamole? Gus-Gus is a'growin. And hopefully in just 2 short weeks we'll find out if we're having a boy Gus-Gus or a girl Gus-Gus.

We'll Miss You Twinkie

Last Easter McKenzie got a rabbit from her dad. He was a cute little white ball of fluff that McKenzie aptly named, Twinkie. He had a good year and lived at her dad's house, but he came to visit us a few times and the little girls loved him too.

Recently due a move McKenzie's dad had to make, Twinkie was to move his place of residence to our house - we were all very excited to have that cute little ball of fluff join our family. Unfortunately due to a series of unfortunate and very tragic events Twinkie is no longer with us - he is now frolicking in a patch of green in Bunny Heaven.

We'll miss you Twinkie.
