Mustard Field

The mustard field at our house is insane right now. Being that it rains, gets sunny, rains, gets sunny, rains...You get the idea...The mustard plants are growing super tall. There is some out there that is as high as McKenzie - no joke. Here are a few snaps that I got yesterday.

Big Girl Bed

Week Two - check. Aubrie has been sleeping in her big girl bed. She's doing pretty well with it too. The first few days were a little iffy and Matt was debating putting the side of the crib back up. But we stuck it out and she's going to be with ease now. Now only if she would stop waking up at 6am...

Here she is at naptime.

Climbing

Aubrie has a thing about climbing lately. That includes climbing on child size piano's and rifling through Mommy's desk.

Case in point.

Lazy Sunday

The last day of "Ski Week" or whatever the school's are calling it these days.  While we should be getting things together for tomorrow, we are actually spending the day lazing around -  watching movies, making pretzels and doing a little laundry too.  Blame it on the rain and not on the fact that we just want to be lazy today - isn't rainy day recess the best part of winter?

Happy Heavenly Birthday, Granny

Today is Granny's birthday. She would have been 91 years old if she were still on Earth. But she's celebrating in Heaven today. Today we honor the wonderful Granny that we got to ahve for so many wonderful years. Here's to you, Granny!

Rain, Rain & More Rain...

It's raining here. A lot. And it's windy. Very windy. So windy that the recycle bins that Matt didn't bring in were blown across the street and one ended up broken. And the garbage can almost ended up in the street. :o) But such is life, we need the rain. And I got to spend the day recovering from my migraine in a nice warm house. :o)

Happy Valentine's Day!

A Few Days Early...

Yay! It came!

For Christmas my parents gave me a little ticket to pick out a new purse. Well, I've been looking, but haven't found exactly what I wanted. Then I remembered the camera bag that I've been eying since summer. Well - my parents ordered it and it arrived today. I've already transferred everything into it and it's awesome! I love it. Thanks MOM & DAD!

Valentine's

The girls and I have been working on the valentine's for their class for the last couple of weeks. We've been working on making crayon hearts and since we finished them up over the weekend, and we now have the cards printed up, we have everything ready to put together. Here is a little peek at what the big girls will be giving their classmates.

This is one of Delanie's. McKenzie's are the same, except her card says McKenzie. :o)

Dive Monterey

We didn't get a lot of pictures when we dove the Breakwater the other weekend, but here are a couple of neat things that we saw on our adventure. This is not a great photo, but this is a Sun Star. They are huge, squishy and very cool!

HA! This is how we shop.

Matt wants to do a Winter Wonderland for Christmas next year. You know, one of those houses that everyone drives from all over to see. Which they results in traffic jams? Yea, that's going to be us next year. So that means that we need lights. LOTS OF LIGHTS. So after Christmas we hit all of the stores for 75% off lights. After multiple trips to Walmart, Target (Hollister, Gilroy & Morgan Hill), Home Depot, Rite Aid, etc - we now have enough lights for the next 20 years. OK not really, but a lot. Good thing they were 75% off.

Here's the first of many loads.

Tooth Trauma

A couple of Friday's ago Delanie tripped over McKenzie and took a tooth into in the tile. OUCH! There didn't appear to be any damage, other than a mildy bloody lip. Then Sunday rolled around and we noticed Delanie's front tooth was turning gray - uh oh - tooth trauma! It's not looking so hot right now, and we'll see if it gets better or worse, but for now we wait. Oh the joys of being 3.

Air Hockey Anyone?

Don't let her size fool you. She's got game.

Yummy!

In the spirit of the Holiday of Love the girls and I made these delicious little goodies for our office staff. Mmmmm, don't they look just heavenly?

Diver in Training

We're teaching them young - here's our little diver in training. :o)

Diving

Matt, his brother and I went diving last weekend in Monterey. We dove the Breakwater and conditions were amazing. Great viz and we got some pretty good photos, which will be coming shortly. Anyway, it was great and nice to get some grown up time - so yeah, Diving!

She Won! She Won!

McKenzie ran for Publicity at school and we found out on Friday that she WON! She was so proud of herself, as we are of her. Here's a photo of our little publicist.
